From Surviving to Radiating Purpose: My Journey and My Deepest Wish for You

If you’re reading this, welcome. Whether you’re here as a survivor, a seeker, a dreamer, or simply someone searching for a next step toward their life purpose, I want you to know: there is room for every part of your story here.

My name is Andrea, and Radiate Purpose was born from a long, sometimes tangled, always courageous path—first as a survivor, then as an advocate, and now, as a life coach. At 22, I founded my first nonprofit, FAIR Girls, to support crisis help and create a safe house for survivors of human trafficking and sexual violence. Years later, I thought it was crazy that I created FAIR Girls and really never identified to myself as a survivor of sexual violence and exploitation. Maybe I was hiding from myself because I felt I could not serve others if I was also broken?

Yet, where did I get this narrative that I was broken? Or, that I had to divide myself and my life purpose - supporting survivors, advocacy, being a strong woman. How could I become whole again? That is where my journey in exploring healing modalities and mind body work began.

A breaking point came in late spring 2018 when I left FAIR Girls and in the same month ended a relationship with a man I believed was the love of my life. I sat each night crying after my young daughter went to bed. A few months later, I experienced a heart seizure and realized that I had to heal. For myself, for my daughter and family and those I serve in my life purpose.

I’ve walked through the dark, the impossible. I’ve sat where you may have sat: in the quiet after harm, trying to piece together meaning or just breathe through one more morning. For years, I searched for something that could transform pain into light, isolation into connection—a way to rewrite my narrative without erasing my truth or let my own past define how I see my future.

I grew up as a sensitive child, always reading the room, always trying to be both safe and good. Life took me into spaces I never asked for—trauma, heartbreak, the messy middle where fear and hope are tangled together. In my twenties, I found a calling not just to survive, but to fight for change. Along the way, I learned the cost of carrying everyone else’s burdens and the freedom of finally letting some of them down.

But something shifted inside me when I realized true healing is not about returning to who we were “before.” It’s about becoming more integrated as a whole within ourselves and the world—about befriending our shadow, not cutting it off as bad. Inspired by Jungian philosophy, my own spiritual life, and the fierce wisdom of other wounded healers, I began to ask new questions: What would my life look like if I allowed myself to radiate—all the way through pain, shame, lost dreams? What if meaning is something we create together, not something given or taken away by circumstance?

Becoming a coach wasn’t a “logical step.” It was a soul calling—one that came after years of trauma work, creative searching, and starting over more times than I care to count. I saw, over and over, that survivors don’t just want to “get better.” We want to belong, to create—sometimes to lead, sometimes to rest. We are not our past.

As your coach through Radiate Purpose, here’s what I offer you: A space where all of you is seen and safe. A process rooted in Jungian wisdom: We’ll explore your dreams, your inner voice, the parts of you longing to be included and honored. Soulful, practical tools for navigating trauma, stuck patterns, and the very real barriers that keep us from joy. Accountability, compassion, and a place to remember your worth. And above all—a partnership where your healing isn’t a checklist, but a sacred unfolding, unique to you.

I hope you’ll find in me a fellow traveler, not a guru—a coach who knows both the art of sitting with pain and the necessity of laughing long and loud on the other side of it.

Your creative mind defines your future and lets you reach our goals.

My wish for you is not that you become someone “better,” but that you peel back the layers to discover (or rediscover) who you already are: whole, powerful, and capable of radiating your purpose into a waiting world. We need you, dear one.

Coaching is not magic. But choosing yourself, investing in your healing, and opening your heart to new possibilities—these things are magic. You’re not lost. You’re rising. And this next chapter can be yours to shape—with love, with intention, and with a circle of support that believes in your light.

Whatever brought you here today, know that you are welcome. The door is open. I can’t wait to walk this path with you.

Andrea
